Since 1991 PLASTIVAL has had at its disposal an ultra-modern production site covering 20,000 m2 with a production capacity of 15,000 tonnes per annum.

As an additional activity we manufacture and distribute for the Tessenderlo group a special PVC-based compound (Marvyflo) intended for the automobile market (vehicle dashboard fittings).

The main stages of production are:

- The storage of raw materials: virgin PVC

This is in the form of a white powder carried by lorry and transferred pneumatically to storage silos.

As PVC cannot be used untreated, various additives need to be incorporated to it which are stored internally: this is the mixing preparation phase.

- The extrusion phase is carried out within the factory by roughly 50 staff providing a 24 hours a day operation in a plant of 40 extruder machines, most machinery being computer controlled.

- We have a covered building of 6,000 m2 used to store more than 1,000 references in sections as well as the same number of related traded products.

- Co-extrusion, line or re-working plaxage processes, protective film coating and bending add to the range of options available to our clients.
